Drone cinematography in Vancouver
Aerial footage with a purpose. Plan establishing shots, location sequences and property views around the story your film needs to tell.

Give your film a sense of place.
Arial Vancouver provides drone cinematography for property films, brand content and commercial video projects in Vancouver and Metro Vancouver. Aerial footage can introduce a location, connect scenes or show the scale of a site. The brief should define what each sequence adds to the finished film.
Share your treatment, reference footage or a simple shot list before the shoot is planned. Include the intended platforms, approximate sequence length and whether you need selected footage or an edited piece. Discuss resolution, frame rate, colour workflow, orientation and file delivery before booking rather than assuming one format suits every production.
Production timing must allow for the location and conditions. Drone flights depend on feasibility, site access, weather and any required permissions. An alternative date or a revised shot list may be needed. For a production with a fixed deadline, explain that constraint in the first enquiry so the schedule can be reviewed.
Before you book
Common questions.
Have a specific location or deadline? Include it in your enquiry.
Can drone video and still photography be planned together?
Mention both in the brief. Still photographs and video sequences need their own shot lists and time allocation. The quote should specify which are included.
Do you provide a finished edit or footage for our editor?
Explain which you need when you enquire. Editing, colour treatment, music, file format and usage should be agreed in the scope rather than assumed to be part of every shoot.
What happens if weather affects the shoot?
Weather can change the flight plan and the look of the footage. Discuss a backup date, scheduling constraints and the approach to rescheduling before booking.
